School and College Celebrations
In addition to the 2025 University-wide Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 4, many schools and departments host celebrations on various days across the city. More information can be found on the School and College Celebrations page.
Pop-up Photo Spots
Beginning Thursday, May 1, two commencement-specific pop-up photo spots will be installed on campus. The first is on the Gallagher Plaza outside the William Pitt Union and the second is on the Cathedral of Learning Lawn near the Panther Fountain. Other traditional photo opportunities that are available all year round are the Panther Statue outside of the William Pitt Union, the red doors of both the Stephen Foster Memorial Theatre and Heinz Chapel, the fountain at Frick Fine Arts and the public gardens at Phipps Conservatory.
Photo opportunities will be available at PPG Paints Arena on Sunday, May 4.

Reservations are now available in both the College Room and Rooftop Terrace (overlooking the Cathedral of Learning). Walk-ins will be accommodated based on availability.
